Holiday Gift Guide: Colorful earrings

I love earrings. When people see me at school pickup, they look to see what earrings I'm wearing. I love being the earring lady. I used to be a pearl girl and would wear the same earrings every day to work. Then the pandemic happened... I stopped wearing makeup and coloring my hair. I love my pared-down routine, but I was feeling a little blah about myself (did I mention I had also recently had a baby?). Anyways, a pair of toucan earrings at Target turned it all around for me. I love expressing myself through earrings, and having a coordinated look makes me feel more put together (even when I'm sporting my glasses, sunscreen, and a ponytail).
Calling It Earrings
Since I love earrings, I have some in my Etsy shop. These earrings are the result of different experiments. What would my palm frond design look like printed on acrylic? So fun and happy, especially accompanied by colorful beads. What should I do with leftover acrylic from another project? Make earrings, of course!

My Faves
These are some of my favorite earring designers. I own the earrings listed here and love them. Some of my first fun earring purchases came from places like Target and BaubleBar, but then I discovered some fabulous designers in Australia. I dreamed of more fabulous earrings (with shorter shipping times) and found wonderful designers in the US too. There is so much talent out there.

Warning: You may fall in love with this incredible Australian designer. I'm sorry in advance. (Link)
I recently discovered Marcela Lopez and her incredible 3D printed art. These earrings are indeed a work of art. (Link)
These earrings are made out of paper! I do worry about the weight of earrings on my poor lobes, and most of the crazy acrylic earrings I wear are much lighter than you would expect. These are basically weightless! But they make such a statement! (Link)
I'm officially a soccer mom, and I wear these earrings to my daughter's games each Saturday. (Link)
Tribe and Temple has beautiful earrings and jewelry in colorful boho and deco glam styles, but my go-to earring from their collection is the hummingbird. I get endless compliments and it goes with more than you would think. (Link)
JillMakes has such delicate and gorgeous earrings. I love that they are colorful without being overwhelming. She has such an eye for design and unique combinations of colors and beads. (Link)
On My Wishlist
These are earrings I am dreaming about but haven't bought yet. I keep telling myself I need to organize my current earring collection first, but we'll see how much willpower I will have.

I don't know what it is about animal earrings, but I can't get enough. My kids think they are fun, so let's go with I'm doing it for their approval instead of because I have a crazy fascination. (Link)
We went to a roller skating party earlier this school year, and I couldn't believe I didn't have roller skate earrings. My daughter is going to have her party at a roller rink, so I feel like these are a must. (Link)
I can't remember why I needed cowboy earrings, but I feel like the need for them comes up more often than I would have expected. This design is so cute. (Link)
These acrylic floral earrings are gorgeous. I love seeing the acrylic get a glam touch with the gold accents. (Link)
JillMakes is already one of my fave designers, but I had to mention her again because of these absolutely adorable mix-n-match holiday earrings. Fabulous! (Link)
Who doesn't love sparkle on the holidays? These glitter Christmas trees look so fun. (Link)
